We all know how fantastic refashioning is, right? But in my book, the best refashioning is making minimal changes to an unloved garment so that it once again becomes loved.
So how awesome is it when you can take a couple of men’s t-shirts forgotten in the depths of your husband’s bureau…
…and recut the sleeves and slim down the body, creating a more feminine look and feel?
Then head on over to Serger Pepper, where my friend Irene is hosting me today with my full photo refashion tutorial on how to girlify a men’s t-shirt! And also some pretty awesome pictures of my armpits… I know you don’t want to miss out on those! Ha!
love it! great poses from man style to.girlify.
Ha! I only realized during editing that I had the same wooden expression and pose in both before pictures!
LOVE! I will be doing this with Hubs’s tshirts 🙂 You have the best ideas!
Thanks, Laura! I want to see your tee transformations, so don’t forget to show off a picture or two! 🙂
I love it, I really like how it is so, it is more feminine, looks great
Thanks, Beatriz!
Wow! I love this! It is so obvious, but I have not done it before. Thank you for inspiring me so much!!!
Hi, MJ! I know, it is obvious, but I hadn’t done it before this, either! 🙂
I so agree with you re: keeping refashions simple. I sometimes struggle with a grand idea or just getting it done so that I can wear it. Sometimes though the grand idea does win out – it is fun to be creative after all 🙂
I would love to see this tutorial, but it seems as though the link has expired on Serger Pepper? Is it possible to read the tutorial elsewhere? Thanks 🙂
Hi, Ros, so sorry that you’re having trouble reading the original tutorial. I tried the links and they work, although the Serger Pepper website looks like it is having some problems, so I will reach out to her about it. If you want, you can read the tutorial in Italian here on my website (https://www.cucicucicoo.com/it/2014/08/tutorial-come-rendere-femminile-una-maglietta-da-uomo/), and then use Google Translate to translate the page (http://bit.ly/2MNwMVm). It’s not a perfect translation, but you should get the gist! Let me know if you have any questions!
