I’m on Mammabook

Have you seen Mammabook’s collection of guest posts this year? The theme is “Creative Recycling for Children” so you can immagine how many cool ideas there are and how happy I was to be able to participate as well! Silvia asked me if I could by any chance write something about clothing, so go figure what my answer was, given how much I love refashioning! But, not being a sewing blog, I didn’t want to write about anything requiring a sewing machine. So I made up three tutorials on how to transform unused clothing in your children’s closet into summer clothing. There are ankle socks, t-shirts and shorts and pedal pushers, but the cool thing is that I described not only how to do these refashions with needle and thread, but also how to do them without sewing a single stitch! The tutorials, in both English and Italian, are split into two separate posts, one for socks and t-shirts and today’s for shorts/pedal pushers. Go check it out!
